Why Firehouse

Firehouse Education is a unique school for Cleaners and Restorers to learn about real stuff that really works in the real world.

We believe that education should be  interactive and not confined to a classroom. So you won’t find the “status quo” on our blog. But you will find a new way to do things and we will ask you to look at what you’ve already been doing in a whole new light.

Firehouse is serious about giving you the tools you need to achieve whatever level of success you want in your business. And the way we do that is thru networking and sharring experience.

However this blog is not one sided. In fact it is very interactive. You have a roll here too. Your roll is to be open minded and willing to step out of your normal way of doing things and say to yourself…

“Just because this is the way it has always been done does’nt mean it’s the way it has to be done.”

I’m not worried about being politically correct or too technical here.

I am worried about getting you out of your comfort zone.

The purpose of this blog is to make you think. Get you engaged. Make you uncomfortable. And maybe even make you mad:)

We are in an ever changing industry that is demanding us to be innovative and charismatic in how we deal with at best a messy situation.

I hope you read this blog with an open mind and a desire to create value.

Just something to think about….

What type of equipment and budget would a person need to get into fire restoration?

    • Annissa Coy says:

Well it really depends because there are so many levels of fire restoration. You can spend as little as a few hundred dollars and get into clean in place type situations all the way up to $30,000 to equip yourself for more extensive fire jobs.

Equipment needed ranges from a hydroxyl machine and Ultrasonic machine to sponges and mops.

I will do a post this week on just this topic of equipment and monies as alot of you are asking me about it. So look for my post in a couple of days for more detail.

Then please let me know if you have any more questions.
